At ECM, people share what they know so others can move forward. We bring together learning support, guidance and community to help people navigate their studies, vocational training, professional development and life in Germany.
Who We Are
A Community Built on Shared Experience
ECM e.V. stands for Education, Career & Mentoring. We are a student-driven association bringing together people who want to learn, progress and help others do the same.
Our community includes university students, vocational trainees and apprentices, language learners, newcomers and young professionals. International students and African talents in Germany are an important part of this community, alongside everyone who shares our commitment to learning and mutual support.
Volunteers contribute their time, knowledge and experience through tutoring, mentoring, language practice, orientation and community activities. Together, they make it easier to ask questions, find guidance and take the next step.

We want a future in which background and starting conditions do not determine how far a person can go—a future where knowledge is shared and those who have progressed help others find their way.

ECM is built on a simple idea: the knowledge or experience that helps one person can make a difference to someone else. A subject becomes clearer when someone takes the time to explain it. A career decision becomes easier to consider when someone shares their experience. A new environment feels less unfamiliar when there are people to turn to.
That is the spirit we want to keep alive. You may come to ECM looking for support today and later become the person who helps someone else move forward.
